Dear World,
If anyone is listening. Perhaps I'm just blogging to an empty space, which in this case wouldn't be half so bad because I would just be blogging to an empty space of White sheet paper in the virtual would. I suppose that's not half as bad either to share your life story with a world that isn't necessarily tangible as it is just visually there to see it's real to some degree. So I suppose I'm just tossing this thought out to the large sea of nothingness world.

Life is beautiful ❤️ no matter how challenging things may get. Things are definitely not easy right now. On some levels it feels like God is off on some distance shore somewhere, very, very far away.

We were not prepared for the job loss by a long shot. It's not been easy to jump back to business. So what do you do when you've had a friend, or a so called friend terminate you from a job wrongfully and unjustly?

At first we were feeling a sense of calm that it happened and then deep grief and then sudden inspiration and encouragement. We watched God help provide for me to have a Crown put in my mouth after all that Dental work. Thank God! Because I didn't think I could live with unfinished work in my mouth and not be able to eat.

We didn't know where a job was coming from, BUT! on the 1st of September my Husband ended up as a very part time security guard. It's been a rollercoaster ride. We are able to pay rent this month and I think that in the end this whole challenge will roll over. I'm not sure what all God is doing, but I'm sure it's gotta be good in the end.

So now I wait. We are waiting. We have bills to pay. I'm sure they will get paid. In the meantime while we wait on provision. I think about Christmas. Wait?!? What?! Did I just say that while I wait, I think about Christmas?!?!? Hahahaha yes! I do! I actually do! I think about Christmas. Christmas comes to mind! How on Earth!?!? Can you think about Christmas in a time like this!?! You say.

Well, I'll explain. When I first moved to this little country like home near my ocean, it was sort of my dream home. I loved the green trees all about the place and the old doll house type Shutters. It was cute to me.

Before my Husband, became my Husband, I was here by myself cleaning up the place. I cleaned everything I could think of. I cleaned all the dishes by hand because there were no dish washer to use and the one that was here was not in working order. I did not use the A.C at the time because I didn't want to pay the bill for which I could not afford to do yet.

I prayed over my Husband and this house. I could have only dreamed it would be mine at the time. I remember how hot it was in this house but I knew it was mine and I knew God would give it to me.

During that season I would be listening to the song, "A Christmas to remember." By Amy Grant. I didn't know what would happen next or when something wonderful would happen. But I felt that song lay a message on my heart that I could have great expectations that something would happen, that something could come my way and in time a season would pass and a new season would arrive bringing with it new open doors of opportunity. Maybe I would have a Husband and maybe that Husband would live with me in this house and eventually all would be well, I could count on that. It was a dream and it was a vision of Faith for something at Sometime it would be a Christmas to be remembered, eventually it was, eventually we were married my Husband had come from Rio Vista to So.Cal, we were married and shortly after we were celebrating with the first pregnancy of our first son. It had become a Christmas to remember after all.

Now here we are a few years later and 3 small children of our own to love. It's hot once again. We are conserving everything we have and rationing our A C to only one hour a night. We haven't enjoyed a date night in a long time and we are totally exhausted from the long summer days and no job hardly to get us food on the table. I'm working with what we have, such as flour, eggs and butter and a little milk with what little we have left. Beans are plentiful and rice so we won't go hungry. Meanwhile that song returns to me once again, "A Christmas to remember," by Amy Grant.

I'm dreaming once again as the heat makes us feel tired and unmotivated to do much of anything around the house but I must keep going. I can't see how this season is good or how what we are going through is anything in sight of something in the distance that we can get our standing on. But the season of Christmas has me hopeful that this summer season won't be long lasting and perhaps, just maybe there is a Christmas we can look forward to and maybe, just maybe, it will be a Christmas to remember after all.

My Hopes are grounded in the Almighty.
